A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR

Dear Applicants:

I wish to sincerely thank you for your interest in attending the College of Toronto, a private, co-educational secondary school located in Toronto.   Since 2004 we have been providing an Ontario Ministry of Education certified high school program, enabling local and international students to realize their academic and creative potential, complete their Ontario Secondary School Diplomas, and successfully gain entrance to colleges and universities in Canada and the U.S.A.

The College of Toronto provides a caring, individualized learning environment which better ensures that all students succeed in the Ontario school system.  Our experienced and professional guidance counsellors help set up our young learners in challenging yet rewarding academic programs, designed to meet their individual academic and life needs.  These programs successfully steer them towards their desired post-secondary academic studies and/or their career choices.  International students also greatly benefit from our emphasis on English and English as a Second Language (ESL) Programs, as well as our preparation courses for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

The College of Toronto is located in mid-Toronto, and is conveniently situated close to the TTC, making it easily accessible by public transit.  This makes the College of Toronto an ideal school for both local and international students, and allows them to seamlessly take advantage of all the great nearby amenities and features our vibrant, cosmopolitan city has to offer, including the Metro Reference Library, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, the CN Tower and the Ontario Science Centre.
